Royersford is Ready.

The Royersford
Riverfront
Can Have It All.

The early stages are about dreaming…how can we bring positive change to the region while transforming former brownfield sites into something more than viable…a community that offers something for everyone, repurposed and reinvented?

Blueskying a new Royersford.

This process has been 10 years in the making. We are excited to bring this mixed-use development to the region. We work here, we live here, we want it to be great for everyone.

Despite the quiet, there has been a tremendous amount of activity taking place to advocate…

Phase 1

Designing new accommodations with exciting uses in existing structures will allow us to start to envision all of the potential that the Riverfront at Royersford offers. Plans include entertainment and restaurant opportunities.

Phase 3

Architecture in harmony with nature, the river, the community and residents are complimented by resources that make sense…thoughtful pleasant places to work, eat, play, recreate and live.

Phase 2

Anticipating community need with revised infrastructure in advance of development will prepare the Riverfront at Royersford for improved expansions while we address the variety of tenants that will call this home.

The Riverfront at Royersford is a mixed-use development to include residential living, restaurant and entertainment venues and retail opportunities.

What is The Riverfront at Royersford?

This project was first imagined ten years ago with the intent of bringing life back to the riverfront. To transform former industrial brownfields into a riverfront destination where you can live, work and play. To highlight and bring life back to unique resources such as the trestle bridge which connects three municipalities and two counties. To attract recreational boating and other uses for the beautiful Schuylkill River. This project will have it all; affordable riverfront living, restaurants with water views, retail and other commercial space and a riverfront entertainment space for special events.

Will there be enough parking? What about traffic?

The Riverfront at Royersford is designed with bountiful parking, above and below grade, to accommodate residents and visitors to the site. The parking provided is in accordance with Borough ordinance requirements. Multiple traffic studies have been completed and recommendations will be incorporated into the design.

What about flooding concerns?

The Riverfront at Royersford has gone through extensive permitting with the required agencies so that the site elevation will be raised to remove the property from within the 100-year flood zone.

Will this development take away from Main Street businesses?

Riverfront at Royersford site plan is designed with Main Street connectivity as a central theme. The perimeter pedestrian and bicycling paths promote easy and convenient access to Main Street Royersford and Spring City. The site will also be able to leverage the soon-to-be renovated trestle bridge to connect to the Schuylkill River Trail, East Vincent and Spring City. The positive economic impacts resulting from this development will help support regional businesses, create additional tax base which helps avoid costly tax increases and create a riverfront destination which brings visitors to the region.
